I've always been fascinated by languages. I'm lucky to have been able to work and
travel around the world. After university studies in communication and French, my work has taken me from Sweden to Australia and on to France. I'm currently living in Serre Chevalier in the
southern Alps, even though I also spend a lot of time in Sweden. Life never stops offering new challenges, and new words to describe them.
Language is life. To me, English is the one that lets me discover the world. French is the language of my love. Swedish is the one which has always enabled me to describe everything, from the smallest detail to the big picture.
The aim of my work is to translate into a Swedish that is alive and vibrant but still true to the source. The translation should be a text in itself: coherent and pleasant to read. A text which explores the possibilities of the language, and at the same time preserves the meaning of the original.
Quality is also measured in terms of project management. It's important to me to
be available and to deliver within the time frames agreed upon. I translate exclusively into my native language, Swedish. Although I'm happy to discuss and take on any kind of work, I enjoy
working within my areas of special interest: the mountains, outdoor sports, tourism and traveling. My translations will breathe fresh air from the mountains.
